Hey there, Brian. Welcome to
planDisney. Brian, I've been a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for years now and let me tell you, it is well worth the initial investment. I love being able to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks anytime my schedule allows without having to worry about buying tickets. Also, the discounts on food, merchandise and sometimes select resort hotels really do save quite a bit of money. Since I drive, I also love the perk of parking for free at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Really the list could go on and on.
As of right now, Brian, we still don't know when the Walt Disney World Annual Pass program will open back up for sales again. I know it was such a bummer when it was temporarily suspended again last month. I do think we will see the program open back up soon. The holidays at Walt Disney World are the busiest time of year there and since they are still operating at a limited capacity I wonder if this was a way to control some of the crowds. Keep an eye out over on the
Disney Parks Blog because when an announcement is made, that's where we are going to find out all of the information.
If the Annual Pass program opens back up before your trip in a few weeks, Brian, you can always upgrade your existing tickets towards an Annual Pass. You can do this while you are on vacation at any of the Guest Relation areas at all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks and at Disney Springs.
Because you are an out-of-state Guest, Brian, you'll be looking at purchasing the
Disney Incredi-Pass when sales resume. The Disney Incredi-Pass gives us 365 days of pure Disney magic with no lockout dates. We are also able to make and hold up to 5 park pass reservations without a Disney resort hotel stay attached which is really nice. Previously, we were only able to make and hold up to three which was challenging when planning a long weekend.
I have my fingers crossed that you'll be able to join the Annual Pass family soon. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help!
Have fun and enjoy!
