Hi Ashley,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for being a member of the Annual Passholder family!
Ashley, this should be a pretty easy fix! Since you purchased your friend’s ticket under your account, you should see the ticket under “Tickets and Passes” in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. To double check, select the three lines in the lower right corner of the app and click the box called “Tickets and Passes”. Here, you’ll see your Annual Pass and you should see her Theme Park ticket. If you don’t see her ticket here and she is still having trouble linking her ticket within her My Disney Experience account, she should call the
My Disney Experience and MagicBand help desk. A Cast Member should be able to help pinpoint the issue and get the ticket linked.
If you do see the ticket, the next thing you’ll want to do is share your plans with your friend’s My Disney Experience mobile account. First, she’ll want to sign into her app, click the three horizontal lines in the lower right corner, and scroll down to “My Profile”. Next, she should select “Show My Linking Code” twice. Once she sees the QR code, have her stop on this screen.
Next, you’ll want to go into your My Disney Experience mobile app, click the three horizontal lines in the lower right corner, scroll down to “My Profile”, and then tap “Family & Friends List”. Here you should see your friend's name, select it, then press “Scan Linking Code”. Next, you can scan her QR code I mentioned above and if she accepts, the plans you share should flow over to her My Disney Experience mobile app. This includes her ticket,
Disney Park Passes, and any other reservations. If this doesn’t work, you can also send her an email by selecting “Send Email” on the prior screen to do the same thing!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you plan for your visit next week.
If you have any last minute questions before your trip, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
