When will the annual passes be available to purchase again? I am a DVC member and I coming home in June and again in September and want to purchase an annual pass instead of passes at both.

    Hi Shae!

It's so nice to see you back at planDisney.  Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is so close, now –– I bet the excitement is really setting in!  While you may have already made a few advance dining reservations for your visit, now is a great time to take a second look if you're hoping to find a table that you were unable to book.  Reservation availability changes all the time and it's not usual to see new reservations pop up close to your arrival.  In fact, you can often find lots of availability in the 72-24 hours before a reservation, as people make changes to their plans ahead of the cancelation deadline.  If you've been hoping to score a table at hard-to-get spots like Space 220 Restaurant, you might just be surprised to find a reservation over the next two weeks.

Like you, I'm hoping to hear that new Walt Disney World Annual Passes will be available to purchase again soon.  Last year, I was able to purchase a Disney Sorcerer Pass, available exclusively to Disney Vacation Club Members and Florida Residents, but I would really like to purchase Annual Passes for the rest of my family before our next visit.  While there hasn't been any word yet on when new Annual Passes might return, Disney has indicated that this is a temporary pause, so I'm hopeful that they'll be available soon. For all the latest details and updates about the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder Program, be sure to keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog as your visit approaches.

There is some good news, though –– if Annual Passes become available after you've purchased theme park admission for an up[coming trip, you should be able to upgrade your existing ticket to a new Annual Pass.  All you'll need to do is visit any Walt Disney World theme park ticketing window or Guest Relations location to pay the price difference between your ticket and a new Pass.  This is how I upgraded my ticket last year after the new Annual Pass program was released last year, and it was a quick and easy –– just the way a great vacation should be!

I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with another question, Shae.  If you think of something new as you plan your upcoming visit, please don't hesitate to visit us again –– we're always here to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Amy
