Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stacey! I can’t tell you what a difference an
Annual Pass made in my life! I was incredibly hesitant to pull the trigger at first, just looking at the price and the days I was projected to be in the Parks, but man, oh, man, am I happy I did!
Not only will you have full park hopping ability for 365 days (going to the parks about 7-10 days makes the pass worth it) but also an exclusive park touch points line, merchandise and select dining discounts, savings on tours, experiences and dinner shows, as well as the ability to purchase the huge savings program of
Tables in Wonderland if you are expecting to visit the park several months out of the year. My husband and children do not have an Annual Pass, but since I stay in the hotel rooms and am present for purchases and park entry, they, as my immediate family, reap all the benefits of my Annual Pass, even though I’m the only one that can use it. As an Annual Passholder, you’ll be eligible for a new MagicBand through
My Disney Experience, and if your other family members stay at a Disney Resort, they, too, will still be eligible to customize and receive bands (this may get you an extra, or you may decline it). As far as tickets go, you will still buy them
a la carte for your family. If you still love the Magic Your Way Packages, you can apply for the “ticketless package” since you have an Annual Pass and add select tickets for your spouse and kids.
If I can help you navigate the waters of your Annual Pass purchase, activation and use, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
