    How does the annual pass work? Is it from Jan - Dec 2012 calendar year, or is it good for 1 year from purchase date?

    Hi Melissa!

    An Annual Pass is actually good for one year from the day it is activated.  You can think about it as the first day it is purchased if you purchase it at Walt Disney World.  However, if you purchase a voucher instead (such as at the Disney Store), then it isn't activated until you turn your voucher in at Walt Disney World. 

    If you get an Annual Pass, think about getting a Tables in Wonderland card.  It is a discount card that is only available to Florida residents or Annual Passholders.  I think it is a great alternative to the Disney Dining Plan.  Mine has saved me a lot of money over the years.
