Hi there, Debbie, and welcome to planDisney!
I'm always happy to help a fellow Passholder maximize the magic of their Annual Pass!
You'll be delighted to hear that as a Passholder, your theme park entry is not contingent on your status as a Guest of a
Disney Resort hotel. While you won't have access to
Early Theme Park Entry and
complimentary transportation to and from the theme parks, your Annual Pass is still a valid ticket to the magic even if you are not an onsite Guest. Additionally, if you choose to drive yourself into the magic, your Pass even includes
complimentary standard theme park parking!
Please keep in mind that
Annual Passes currently require a theme park reservation, and the number of reservations you can hold at any given time depends on the
type of Annual Pass you currently have. Since you are not a Florida resident, I am going to assume that, like me, you are an
Incredi-Pass holder. If so, you are eligible to hold five theme park reservations at a time, so if your magical vacation is more than five days long (lucky you!), you'll need to make the additional reservations once you have redeemed at least one of the original reservations.
Since you have indicated that you plan to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth in May, I also wanted to make sure you are aware that Walt Disney World Resort will be celebrating
V.I.PASSHOLDER Days during your visit! So far, this year's list of announced Passholder-exclusive perks includes a limited-release
magnet and
ice cream treat in EPCOT honoring everyone's favorite mischievous blue extraterrestrial experiment, as well as a
Passholder-exclusive lounge in Restaurant Marrakesh, and a
20% discount at Disneystore.com for select dates.
I hope you get the chance to live your best Passholder life and take advantage of these limited-time perks during your vacation, Debbie. If you have any additional questions about visiting Walt Disney World, feel free to
stop back by. I'd love to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
