I have an annual pass with water park option. Am I able to just show up to typhoon lagoon or do I need to make a reservation?

Welcome to planDisney, Christine! Thanks so much for sending us your question. As a fellow Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, I'm happy to help!

I'm so glad that Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park has reopened! At this time, you do not need a Disney Park Pass Reservation to visit a water park, however, reservation requirements are subject to change. Given your arrival date is approaching very soon, you should be ok to arrive and enjoy your fun in the sun and sand!

Our family loves this water park and has been many times, so I want to give you a few suggestions. When you first arrive, you might consider riding some of the more popular attractions such as Crush 'n' Gusher and Miss Adventure Falls before the wait times are longer. Another suggestion I have is to pick up an all-day refillable mug early in the day so you can enjoy unlimited refills when you're thirsty. If you love ice cream and you will have some friends or family with you, I highly recommend ordering a Sand Pail from Happy Landings Ice Cream. This is a bucket....yes, I said a bucket filled with chocolate and vanilla soft-serve ice cream, waffle cone pieces, Oreo cookie pieces, sprinkles, hot fudge, caramel sauce, creamy topping, and a cherry on top! I will never forget the look on my kids' faces when they saw this! It even comes with a shovel if you want to skip using a spoon!

I hope you have so much fun splish-splashing around at Typhoon Lagoon! If you have any additional questions before you arrive at The Happiest Place on Earth, please visit us again at planDisney. We're always happy to help!

Wishing you lots of Sunshine & Smiles!
