If you get an annual pass does it start the first day you use it or does it start the day of purchase?

    Hi Jean,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for reaching out to us with your question about the new Disneyland Resort Magic Key Program.  I can't think of a better way to spend a full year with as much Disney magic as possible!

Once you purchase your new Magic Key Pass and make your Theme Park Reservations your year as a Magic Key Passholder begins once you first enter a Theme Park or when you use the parking benefit associated with your pass.  This will also be considered your renewal date when the time comes to renew the following year.

Prior to purchasing your Magic Key be sure to research which Key is best for you.  Take a close look at the blockout dates for each pass as well as the number of Theme Park Reservations you will be able to hold with each pass.  The parking benefit is also different for each pass and the discounts differ as well.  I am sure you will be able to find a Magic Key that is "Practically Perfect in Every Way", and that you will be enjoying Disneyland Resort shortly!

I hope you found this information useful, Jean.  If you have any other questions, please come back to planDisney, we are always happy to help.

    ~Stephanie
