Welcome back to planDisney, Cassandra!
I am so happy to hear that in just a few months you will be enjoying a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Some of the most pixie-dusted memories I have of The Most Magical Place on Earth were made while visiting with my best friends.
Whenever we travel together, one of us makes a room-only reservation and adds the rest of us to it. Each one is responsible for their theme park tickets, and as long as you are all connected on
My Disney Experience you will be able to plan, manage, and share every single aspect of your vacation. I recommend that all Guests in your party create a
Disney account. After all the accounts have been set up, you will be ready to connect. If you are using the
My Disney Experience mobile app, tap the three horizontal lines found at the bottom right corner and then scroll down to “My Profile”. After selecting My Profile, tap “Family & Friends List” at the top right corner and then “Add a Guest”. Select “I’ll enter their name and age”. After you have filled out the Guest’s information, select “Share Planning with this Guest” and enter their e-mail address. You can also add family members and friends by signing in to your Disney account online and selecting "
My Family & Friends" from the drop-down menu on the right.
Once your friends accept your invitation to connect, they will be able to view and co-manage the plans you make together, like
dining reservations. When you make
Disney Park Pass reservations, select connected Guests that will be visiting with you, but please note that they must also have valid theme park tickets linked to their account.
planDisney tip: remember to check the box to share your Family & Friends list with connected Guests - this will make it easier for your group to make plans together as they will be able to easily connect to each other.
It was a pleasure answering your question, Cassandra. Come back to visit us real soon for more tips and advice as you plan your Disney vacation!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
