Hi Maydeliz,
Welcome to planDisney! As a Florida Resident annual passholder for more than 20 years, I'm always thrilled to hear that other neighbors want to join my family in regular visits to Walt Disney World. It's one of the benefits of living here in the Sunshine State.
During the phased reopening of the theme parks and resorts, sales of annual passes have been suspended as Walt Disney World adjusts to
enhanced health and safety measures that include lower capacities and physical distancing. Those who already have a valid annual pass may renew; it only sales of new passes that are on hiatus.
I know everyone is hopeful that annual pass sales will resume in the near future, but we don't have information on when that might be. In the mean time, Walt Disney World is offering the
Florida Resident Disney Magic Flex Ticket, which provides discount admission for three or four days. The Magic Flex tickets are valid any day through December 18 with the exception of Thanksgiving week.
Please remember that you will need both a valid ticket and a
Disney Park Pass reservation to enter the theme parks during the phased reopening.
In the past, you have been able to upgrade single-day and multi-day tickets to an annual pass, so you may have that option if annual passes go on sale before the end of 2020. You might want to check with the cast members at the passholder phone line, (407) 560-7277. Or, since it appears you plan to visit Walt Disney World in a few days, you can ask a cast member in person at Guest Relations at one of the parks, resorts or Disney Springs.
Thanks for your question, Maydeliz, and for your patience during this extraordinary time as we return to the magic with the safety of guests at the forefront.
Enjoy!
Wilma
