If I have an annual pass or parkand a reservation for EPCOT on New Year’s Eve, can I enter and leave the park anytime during the day? Can I go in the morning then back to Boardwalk for lunch and return to EPCOT in the early evening to enjoy the festivities

Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. How exciting that you're planning to spend New Year's Eve at EPCOT. It's home to a huge international party that you're not going to want to miss, and capping off 2023 with a showing of Luminous The Symphony of Us, is a great way to ring in 2024!

Jennifer, if you have an Annual Pass and a Disney Park Pass reservation for EPCOT, you are welcome to leave and re-enter at your leisure. However, since New Year's Eve is an especially busy day, it's important to note that your Disney Park Pass reservation does not guarantee you the ability to re-enter the Theme Park if you have left and it has reached capacity in the time that you were gone. The only way to guarantee that you'll be able to re-enter EPCOT is to make sure you are back before Park Hopping begins at 2:00 PM. After that, all Guests with Park Hopper tickets and eligible Annual Passes will be allowed to enter on a first-come, first-served basis.

With this in mind, it's important to keep a close eye on the My Disney Experience app this weekend! You'll get a notification when any Theme Park reaches capacity so you can plan your day with the most up-to-date information.

I hope this answers your question, Jennifer, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
