As a fellow Annual Passholder, I have also had to make alternate arrangements to receive my
MagicBand and "Magic Slider" as I also do not live in the United States.
Annual Passholder MagicBands and "Sliders" are not available for customization or shipping through your
My Disney Experience Account until
activated at a Walt Disney World theme park ticket window or Disney Springs Guest Relations location.
Once your Annual Pass has been activated you can go through the process of choosing the color and name for your MagicBand and you can arrange delivery to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or US address where you will be staying during your next visit.
During that initial visit you can either use your Passholder Card with ID for entry at Walt Disney World resort Theme Parks or, if you have a previous MagicBand or will be receiving one for staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel in February 2018, I recommend you use that MagicBand for use on your initial visit. You will want to travel with your Passholder Card and ID wherever you go, regardless.
Remember to take advantage of all of the
many benefits and discounts afforded to Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders (which require you show your Passholder Card and ID). One of the main selling points for an Annual Pass for me is the cost-effectiveness when you take into consideration paying less for experience and merchandise that would normally be full price.
