Hey there, Jeffrey. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question.
I am so glad that
park hopping has officially returned to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. My perfect Disney day is spending the morning at Magic Kingdom Park enjoying my favorite attractions, relaxing by the pool in the afternoon and then park hopping over to Epcot for drinks and snacks around The World Showcase in the evening. I really missed the flexibility that park hopping allows and I am thrilled it's back.
Even though park hopping has returned, it does look a bit different. Here is how it's currently working:
- Guests wishing to park hop must have valid theme park admission with the park hopping option.
- Guests must make a park pass reservation for the first Walt Disney World Theme Park they'd like to visit that day
- Guests must enter the Walt Disney World Theme Park that the park pass reservation is made for
- After 2:00 p.m. Guests may park hop to any other theme park subject to capacity limitations
For your convenience,
bus transportation is currently being provided between theme parks to make park hopping easier. Before you board a park hopping bus, a Cast Member will stop you and verify your theme park admission does include park hopping and then away you'll go. I've been park hopping all week and haven't run to any capacity issues, but if there is the Cast Member at the bus stop will be able to inform you of that.
Jeffrey, being an Annual Passholder you'll just need to make a park pass reservation for your initial park of the day and then after you've visited that park and the clock strikes 2:00 p.m. you are able to park hop away. I hope this helps plan your day. If you have any other questions, I'd love for you to come back and
ask me.
Have fun!
