Hello Cody,
Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question about the
Annual Passholder program at
Walt Disney World! It’s fantastic that you’re considering becoming an Annual Passholder, especially as a resident of Florida with such convenient access to the magic.
As an Annual Passholder, you do have the ability to visit the parks frequently; however, it is important to note that
reservations are still required. Annual Passholders must use the
Disney Park Pass reservation system to secure entry to the parks for each day they plan to visit.
One great feature for Annual Passholders are the "
Good-to-go days". These are specific days identified by Walt Disney World where the crowd levels are expected to be lower, making it easier for passholders to enjoy more spontaneous visits. You can check for days through the My Disney Experience app or on the Walt Disney World website. These days usually offer more availability for making last-minute park reservations, allowing you to decide to visit the parks on short notice, even daily if reservations are available.
Do keep in mind that during peak times, such as holidays or special event periods, reservation slots can fill up quickly. Planning your park visits in advance and regularly checking the reservation calendar will help ensure you secure your desired dates.
As a passholder, you'll also enjoy other
fantastic benefits, including discounts on dining, merchandise, and select experiences across the resort. It’s a wonderful way to make the most of living so close to the magic!
If you need more information or further assistance as you plan your adventures at Walt Disney World, feel free to reach out again to us here at planDisney. We're here to help you make every visit magical!
Wishing you many magical days at the parks, Cody!
