Hi! My annual pass is linked to my parents account for an upcoming trip, but I also have a trip planned without them in June (My hotel reservation is on a separate my Disney experience). Is there a way to link my annual pass to both accounts?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Madison!

Oh, you must be so excited for two upcoming trips to Walt Disney World

Your Annual Pass is the key to unlocking a year's worth of magic throughout the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, so ensuring that it's linked properly is essential.

First, it's important to be sure that you don't have duplicate identities on My Disney Experience. In short, you should have your own My Disney Experience account that has your Annual Pass linked to you. My Disney Experience identifies each person individually, and their plans, theme park tickets, Walt Disney World Resort hotel stays, reservations in the Disney Park Pass system, Advanced Dining Reservations are all connected to that account. If you are listed as two different people (likely with the same name), the system won't recognize that they are both the same person. This happened to us a couple of years ago when my daughter made her own account for a girls trip, but she still existed--with her Annual Pass--in my own account we created years ago.

If this is the case, simply call a Cast Member who can merge all of your travel details onto one account. Call (407) 939-5277 or get V.I.PASSHOLDER assistance by calling (407) 939-7277. Our Cast Member was able to move everything we needed onto the My Disney Experience account my daughter had created, then removed the now bogus/additional identity from my account. It was super-simple, but was something that I could not do on my own.

Next, you and your parents can add each other to your Family & Friends Lists in My Disney Experience, then select that you are only able to see vacation plans for when you are traveling together, if that is what you prefer. You'll be able to see everything for both trips now that you are using only one My Disney Experience account.

Be sure to download the very handy My Disney Experience mobile app prior to arrival, too. That will let you see all of your plans for both vacations. So helpful!

As you plan so much fun for your two trips to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way, Madison. We love to help!
