Hi Jonathan,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Jonathan, this is totally possible and a great idea. This way in the future if you are going to the Theme Parks without that family member, you won't need to rely on their account.
In my experience, I found if I’m moving a ticket or annual pass into another separate account, it’s easier to call
V.I.PASSHOLDER Support. This way if there are any reservations associated with your pass, they can help with the seamless transition into your new account.
Before you call, just set up a new
My Disney Experience account with your information. Once it’s all set up, sign into the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Once these steps are done, give the V.I.PASSHOLDER Support desk a call to see if they can help with the transfer. After the call, you’ll want to make sure your app is linked to your family members app by adding them to your “Family & Friends List” under “My Profile” (which can be found by pressing the three horizontal lines).
Once your account is set up, anytime you want to reserve a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or you’re doing
mobile check out at a store that has the feature, your discount should flow through within the app or the website!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your future vacations. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
