Welcome to planDisney, Roxy! It's so wonderful to have you here and thank you for sharing your question with us.
I'm sorry to hear that your plans have changed and you are no longer able to attend
Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite. You should know that while the terms and conditions state that tickets may not be resold or transferred for commercial purposes, gifting your special event ticket to a friend or family member is a possibility. In general, a ticket is assigned at the time it is first scanned at the turnstiles. A Cast Member will take a photo of the Guest using the ticket, officially designating it to them. If you prefer to also have the name corrected, you'll want to have the original Guest who purchased the ticket inquire with a Cast Member by phone using the
Tickets line, or via the chat function in the
official Disneyland mobile app. From there, you can request the name change for your event tickets.
It's a wonderful gift that you are considering to share the magic of an epic Disneyland After Dark:
Star Wars Nite adventure with a loved one. How lucky for them! If you haven't already checked it out, I highly recommend the
Disney Eats: Season of the Force Foodie Guide which highlights specially-themed eats and treats from around the galaxy in celebration of this limited-time event through June 2 (and includes some of the exciting offerings featured during Disneyland After Dark:
Star Wars Nite!) Even though you won't be able to attend the after-hours party, I hope you'll have time to visit Disneyland Resort at some point during this very special seasonal event and enjoy all the festivities. If we can assist with any other questions in the meantime, please come back and see us again here at
planDisney.
May the Force be With You,
Tishra
