Ann from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We were annual pass holders with no restrictions until the pandemic. Can we renew our passes now? Please let us know. I see that it is the passes are on hold and I don't wish to purchase a pass with restrictions.

Hey there, Ann, and welcome to planDisney! As an Alabamian, I always feel a little left out when I see that my neighboring Florida friends can still purchase annual passes! I mean, Alabama isn’t that far away from Florida…

Ann, if your Walt Disney World Annual Pass is unexpired, you can renew to a comparable pass. So if you currently have an unexpired Annual Pass with no restrictions, you can renew to an Annual Pass without restrictions. However, if your Annual Pass has expired - meaning it's 30 days or more past the expiration date - then you are outside of the Annual Pass renewal window. However, since you are a Florida Resident you can currently purchase the Disney Pixie Dust Annual Pass and upgrade to a higher tier Annual Pass when sales resume. However, the Pixie Dust Annual Pass does have blockout dates. If you prefer not to purchase a pass and upgrade later, you can always wait until Annual Pass sales resume to purchase your new pass.  However, we are not sure when this offering will return in full. In the meantime, you can always review the Florida Resident Special Offers to find all of the wonderful savings that Disney has just for you!

I hope this helps, Ann. If you have more questions, let me know
