Do annual pass holders need to make park reservations?

    Hi there, Dana,

Welcome to planDisney! I'm glad you stopped by with a question about theme park reservations for Annual Passholders. It's great that you're thinking ahead for your rapidly approaching trip! Let's take a closer look.

Annual Passholders may need a theme park reservation, depending on the day of your visit. I was at the parks last week and was lucky to go on a few Good-to-Go days - select days when Passholders do not need a reservation (these are subject to pass blockout dates as well as capacity limitations). The dates for Good-to-Go days can be found at the following:

If the day you wish to visit theme parks is not listed as a Good-to-Go Day, you will need to make a theme park reservation unless you are first entering the park after 2:00 PM or if it is Saturday or Sunday and you're heading to Magic Kingdom.

Depending on the type of Annual Pass you have, you can hold between 3 and 5 reservations at a time in addition to days where you are staying at a Disney resort hotel.

I hope this information is helpful, Dana. If you're heading to Magic Kingdom during your visit, I highly recommend catching the brand-new Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade. My family opted to wait until the second viewing, and it was much easier to find a great spot to sit and watch. I recommend heading to Liberty Square or Frontierland and finding a place in front of the boardwalk pathway - you'll see the parade as it turns to make its way towards you!

    Enjoy making magical memories,
    Candace
