I stayed at the
Boardwalk just a couple of weeks ago, and one thing I noticed was how strict they were when it came to parking at the resort. Guests who are not staying at the resort will need a dining reservation in order to park there, and the time is limited to about 3 hours.
I’d recommend parking at
Hollywood Studios instead, then taking the
Skyliner,
boat, or walking path to make your way over to the Boardwalk.
Of course, if you do end up
making a dining reservation at the resort, then you’ll be more than welcome to park right there!
Another thing to note. When we visited the main pool during our stay, a Cast Member was stationed at the pool entrance to confirm that only resort guests were accessing the pool area. So, during your visit, I’d plan to hang with your family in other parts of the resort. Our favorite spots to relax are near the turf area right there on the boardwalk (my boys could run around there for hours!) or on the large covered porch.
