Hi there, Rochelle!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
I'm so excited to see that you'll be enjoying a Walt Disney World Resort vacation in December. What a MAGICAL time full of MERRIMENT and holiday fun! I just booked a December visit for my family when I heard the news that the
Epcot International Festival of the Holidays Candlelight Processional would be returning for the holidays this year. The beautiful story of Christmas, shared by celebrity narrators and backed by an amazing choir, is one of my favorite holiday traditions.
Another amazing way to celebrate the holiday season at Walt Disney World is to attend one of
Disney's Very Merriest After Hours events, held in
Magic Kingdom Park on select nights from November 8 to December 21. This four-hour exclusive event features tons of FESTIVE offerings, including:
- Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
- Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show
- Club Tinsel Dance Party
- Low wait times for popular attractions
- Holiday-themed attraction overlays
- Character Sightings
- Live Entertainment, featuring the Reindeer Wranglers
- All-you-care-to-enjoy ice cream treats, popcorn and select beverages
- SNOW on Main Street U.S.A.!
It's going to be SO much fun, I can't wait!
Annual Passholders are eligible for a
$10 discount per ticket to the event, however, the discount only applies to select event dates in November.
I hope this helps with your planning and budgeting for your upcoming vacation. Have the merriest time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
