Hi Leanne,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel – we’re so glad you POPPED by with your question. Oooooooh, do I ever love
Walt Disney World popcorn! I’m pretty sure it’s sprinkled with pixie dust.
My family almost always purchases a refillable popcorn bucket, and we have quite a collection of designs at home. It’s so much fun to pull them out and fill them with freshly-popped popcorn for family movie nights, and we also use them for toy storage, packing snacks for road trips, and building sandcastles. They’re really fantastic souvenirs.
Leanne, the refillable popcorn buckets are “length of stay” items, meaning that they may be refilled for the length of your visit. Many local Annual Passholders interpret that as “valid for the length of the popcorn bucket design,” which does change regularly, but that is at the discretion of the Cast Member at the popcorn cart. It wouldn’t be magical to bring your popcorn bucket in your luggage only to find that the design has changed and you aren’t able to refill it anymore. My advice is to leave the bucket at home and save that precious luggage space for a fun souvenir.
Have so much fun this year, Leanne! Make sure you take advantage of all the amazing
Annual Passholder Special Events & Offers, plus exclusive merchandise, events, and more. Enjoy your magical year, and I hope you have a POPPIN’ time on each of your upcoming visits.
Wishing you a magical and
snack-tacular vacation,
Robyn
