I am an annual pass holder I wanted to know with the new chip n dale magnet set are they requiring each pass holder to be present to pick up? I know in the past just one pass holder needed to be there with ID and the passes.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christa!

I visited Epcot on the first day of this year’s Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, and I just loved seeing all the incredible decorations and tasting all the festive treats. It’s truly a holiday wonderland!

While I’m not currently an Annual Passholder, I did some #resEARch while I was at the festival and watched the process for picking up those adorable Chip ‘n’ Dale Annual Passholder Magnets. The day I was there, the Cast Member was asking each Passholder to present their Annual Pass card and photo ID, and Guests were not allowed to pick up magnets for friends and family who were not present. According to the Passholder-Exclusives web page for the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, that’s the official procedure, though the process is at each Cast Member’s discretion – I once picked a different magnet up with just a scan of my MagicBand, but I can’t promise that will be your experience. It never hurts to politely ask if you may pick up a magnet for someone else, but be prepared that they may not be able to make that happen, since supplies are limited.

If you’d like to ask about a specific circumstance, I recommend calling the V.I.PASSHOLDER support line at (407) WDW-PASS with your question. They provide fantastic Guest support, and it might be worth a call to see what your options are.

Have so much fun during your holiday visit to Epcot, Christa! My family really loved Chip & Dale’s Christmas Tree Spree, where Guests search for a Chip ‘n’ Dale ornament in each World Showcase Pavilion. It was a little more challenging than other scavenger hunts we’ve done in Epcot, and it gave us a fun chance to see all the decorations and storytellers up close.

    Wishing you a magical visit,
    Robyn
