Welcome to planDisney, Moriah! I'm so glad to answer a question for a fellow
Annual Passholder today. You're absolutely right that, as a Passholder, you'll need a park reservation to enter a theme park before 2:00 PM, but let's chat about what happens when you want to park hop!
Moriah, I'm pleased to tell you that there is no designated park hopping time. In the past, there used to be a 2:00 PM restriction before you could hop, but that's no longer the case. Now, once you've entered the park you made your reservation for, you are totally free to hop to any other park whenever you're ready. That means if you want to rope drop
EPCOT with your reservation in the morning and then head over to
Hollywood Studios for a quick ride on
Tower of Terror right after, you can absolutely do that.
The only real thing to keep in mind is that park hopping is always subject to capacity. On really busy days, if a park does hit capacity, park hopping may be temporarily paused. That's not something that happens often, but it's good to know it's possible. The
My Disney Experience app is great for keeping an eye on park availability if you're worried about crowds and capacity!
To sum it up, make your reservation for your first park of the day if you're going before 2:00 PM, but after that, you're free to hop anywhere at any time, no waiting required. It's one of the best perks of having an Annual Pass, because you can really design your day however you want.
Have a magical day, Moriah!
