Hey there! Hi there, Jeffery! I am always happy to welcome a fellow Annual Passholders to planDisney. With the recent changes to theme park reservation requirements, this is a great question to make sure you can enjoy your planned itinerary at the Most Magical Place on Earth this weekend.
With the current policies,
Annual Passes require a
theme park reservation if you plan to enter a theme park before 2:00 p.m. If you visit after 2:00 p.m., you won't need a reservation unless you are heading to the
Magic Kingdom first on a Saturday or Sunday.
You do not need a second reservation to
Park Hop. With your plans to travel the world at
EPCOT first, you will not need another reservation for the Magic Kingdom. You can hop aboard the highway in the sky and let the
Disney Monorail transport you to the Magic Kingdom at any point after visiting EPCOT.
Before each trip, I take a look at the Passholder Buzz on the
My Disney Experience app to see what exclusive Passholder perks are at the parks during my visit. I'm looking forward to the
special "Anyone Can Cook" latte at the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. I always ask at Joffrey's if they offer a discount for Passholders. It's not on the list of
dining discounts and not guaranteed, but I have asked at the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Joffrey's kiosks and gotten a discount on my caffeine fixes.
Jeffery, I hope your weekend at
Walt Disney World is everything your heart dreams! If you have any other questions as you plan your weekend or next Disney trip, know you have a friend in
planDisney.
Magic Awaits!
