As an annual pass holder, how much would you save on the tickets for the Halloween and/or Christmas parties? In other words, what are the "perks" to upgrading to annual passes? Thanks!

    Hi Jann,

Thanks so much for stopping by with your question. I think you are wise to weigh the pros and cons of becoming an Annual Passholder at Walt Disney World.

There are a few types of Annual Passes to choose from, but when it comes to perks, you can expect hotel discounts, dining and merchandise discounts and a few dollars off the price of certain Special Event tickets.

To me, the most value is in the included theme park parking and Disney PhotoPass downloads with each pass. We always purchase Disney Memory Maker, so when I did the math for the coming year, I decided getting an Annual Pass made sense for me.

If you plan to visit Walt Disney World 2-3 times or more in the next year, I do think you'd be happy with an Annual Pass. Even if you may simply "break even" financially, you may find that having one is worth it for the additional perks.

    Happy planning,
