I am an annual pass holder and have my reservation for an upcoming trip. Can I buy a ticket for my daughter (over 18) to come with me? Or does she have to have her own account? If so, can we link our accounts to share memory maker?

    Hi Halona! Welcome to planDisney!

Your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with your daughter sounds so special. I look forward to some girls-only trips with my daughter when she gets older. I know you will make lots of memories during your vacation that the two of you will smile about for years to come!

I have my young kids and my husband on my account and manage all their plans, so you could certainly have your daughter on your account with no trouble! However, since she is over 18 and may want to take trips on her own or with friends in the future, I recommend she create her own My Disney Experience account. Once her account is set up, you can send her an invitation through My Disney Experience to link your accounts for planning together.

To link accounts, go to the main Walt Disney World website and choose "My Family & Friends" from the My Disney Experience drop-down menu. From there, scroll down to "Add a Guest," then select "I'll enter their name and age." Once you fill in the information change the age to "18+" you'll see the option below to "Invite this Guest to connect." Choose that option, then enter the email address that your daughter used to create her My Disney Experience account. Once the invitation is sent, your daughter will receive an email and simply needs to accept the invitation. Then, you'll be connected and you can manage plans with her and you'll be able to see all her PhotoPass photos show up in your Memory Maker!

I hope this helps, Halona! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
