Hi Julie,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and hello to a fellow
Annual Passholder and runner! The
Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend is on my race bucket list – my only problem will be choosing which Princess to represent in my running gear and tiara.
Julie, when I signed up for the
Walt Disney World Marathon during the
early registration period for Annual Passholders, I had no problem also registering my non-Passholder husband. That early registration window is such a great perk of being a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder! Registration is open now, so run, don’t walk to the special Passholder runDisney registration page, and get ready to run like it’s midnight.
Once you’ve registered and begun training, you’ll have a second very important job: planning your visit to Walt Disney World Resort for Disney Princess Half Marathon Race Weekend. The Princess races are favorites here on the Panel, so please stop by with your questions. My friend and fellow Panelist
Jerry recently shared some great tips for enjoying every magical mile; I had cupcakes with Jerry and his wife after last year’s race, and they really do know how to have an amazing time at a runDisney race!
I hope you have pixie dust in your running shoes as you train for the Disney Princess Half Marathon, and that your training is healthy and fun! Be sure to keep up with the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest runDisney news, inspirational race stories, and sneak peeks of the amazing race merchandise that awaits us. I can’t wait for us both to go the distance in 2020!
Wishing you a magical
run-cation,
Robyn
