I am an annual pass holder and received a Magic Band this past week when I stayed at a Disney Resort. Will I be still be able to use my magic band after my vacation is over?

    Hi Brandi,

Don't you love being a Florida resident with year-round access to Walt Disney World?

Like you, I have a MagicBand from a recent stay at a Disney resort, and it is my understanding that we can use the bands to access our annual passes on subsequent visits, even if we are just on a day trip. I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard from other people who have done it successfully.

Please remember that the MagicBands are still in the testing phases, so what works one day may not work another time as adjustments are made to the system. I would plan to wear my MagicBand on my next visit, if I were you, but would bring the valid pass, too, just in case.

The MagicBands worked great for us on our visit last month, and we're excited to see how the system evolves over the coming weeks.

I hope that helps. Have fun!
