Welcome to planDisney, Veronica!
Thanks for stopping by with your question about your annual pass. I’ve been a Walt Disney World Resort
Annual Passholder for almost a decade now, and I can’t imagine not having access to my Happy Place. There are so many perks for Annual Passholders—how can I pass up free theme park parking, discounts on select food and merchandise, and other annual surprises (like this summer’s Annual Passholder Lounge at
EPCOT)?
Now, let’s get down to business. If you have an annual pass for another set of theme parks like for the Disneyland Resort (
Magic Key Pass), you won’t be able to use that annual pass at Walt Disney World Resort. You can still use a
Disney Gift Card or receive discounts in other ways like being a
Disney Vacation Club member or a
Disney VISA Cardmember. However, you must have a Walt Disney World Resort annual pass or a valid theme park ticket to enter the Disney Parks here in Florida.
If you are a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, check out the
Admissions & Blockout Calendar to see if you have any upcoming blockout dates on your pass. If you have the Disney Incredi-Pass, you have no blockout dates, but be sure to make a theme park reservation for days that aren’t listed as “Reservation Not Required” (also known as “Good-To-Go Days”). Also, Annual Passholders may enter theme parks after 2 p.m. without a theme park reservation (except for Magic Kingdom Park on weekends).
Veronica, I hope that this helps.
Please revisit us here at planDisney if you have additional questions about your upcoming adventures. Any one of the panelists would be more than happy to lend a Mickey hand.
Magic always,
LeAndra
