If I am an annual pass holder and do not stay on WDW property can I still book fast passes and ADR ahead of the general public?

Hey Rebecca. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I've been a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for years now and I can say the benefits keep getting better and better!

If you are a passholder and staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can start making FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance to your check-in date. You are able to make those selections for the length of your stay or up to 7 days out. Keep in mind if you are staying longer than 2 weeks, you'll only initially be able to make FastPass+ selections for 14 days. If you are not planning on staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, like you mentioned, you are able to make your FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance. You'll be able to make 3 selections each day for up to 7 days. In order to do this, you'll need to make sure your Annual Pass is linked to your My Disney Experience Account. I often times stay off property and have no trouble making FastPass+ selections for the attractions that I enjoy. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the selections offered to you to choose from. Also, keep in mind that if you arrive early to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, you'll be able to mark off so many of those must-do attractions before the park gets busy. I am always amazed at the fun my family and I have before 10:30 a.m. Sometimes we are even headed out of our first park by then to go for a swim!

I hope this helps, Rebecca. If you have any other questions, I'd love for you to come back and ask me.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
