I am an annual pass holder. Can I link my account with family that is visiting from NJ and will only be here for 3 days?

Hello there, Ann! Welcome back to planDisney!

I am also an Annual Passholder at Walt Disney World Resort! I tend to be the go-to source of information for my family and friends who are visiting and oftentimes, I meet them at the parks, too. It always adds a little extra fun for me to see family and friends at the Most Magical Place on Earth. It also helps them out when I can use my Annual Passholder discounts for everyone when dining with them or booking certain tours and experiences together.

With that said, you can certainly link your account to any Guest, no matter the duration of their stay. I find it easiest to link with family and friends using the Walt Disney World website. To do this, hover over the "My Disney Experience" icon on the purple and pink menu bar at the top of the page. When the drop-down menu appears, select "Family & Friends." On the next page, you'll see a list of all Guests who are currently connected to your My Disney Experience account. Scroll down and select "Add Guest." Next, you'll choose how you'd like to connect with the members of your family. If they are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you could toggle the option for "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation" and enter their confirmation number and the last name on their reservation. If they are not Guests of a Disney Resort Hotel, you will toggle "I'll enter their name and age," then fill out the required information on the form provided. You're only required to enter the information with an asterisk next to it. Then toggle "Invite this Guest to connect" and enter their email address. Click "Submit" and this will send the Guest an invitation to connect with you, which they will accept on their end. You will need to repeat this process for each Guest.

Once connected, you will be able to share plans with one another and make plans for the entire group for this particular trip. I recommend choosing to only show plans you share. Since you are an Annual Passholder, you likely visit more often and their app would be filled with all of your plans even once they return home if you share all plans. I once received a message from a friend asking me "How is EPCOT today?" and realized she knew I was there through sharing all planning on the My Disney Experience App! Oops!

Ann, I hope this helps and that you're able to link up with your family and enjoy making special memories together at Walt Disney World! Feel free to reach out with any more questions.

    Ta ta for now!
