In 2026, as an annual pass holder, does the “kids eat free” perk apply to us? I know in the past it wasn’t typically extended to AP holders! Thank you!

    Hi Whitney,

Welcome to planDisney! We’re so glad you stopped by to bring us your question. I absolutely love chatting about Disney deals and ways to stretch that Disney dollar to the max, like my girl Elastigirl! So, let’s dive in and talk about that “kids eat free” offer that’s been causing quite the buzz for 2026.

Whitney, this special offer is part of a vacation package available to Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel. To unlock the magic, your package needs to include theme park tickets and a Disney Dining Plan for everyone in the party, age 10 and up. Then, kiddos ages 3 to 9 can enjoy their meals at no additional cost! How’s that for a sprinkle of tasty pixie dust?

Since you already have Annual Passes for your family, this is where a little Disney math comes in. The offer requires theme park tickets to be included, even if you don’t need them. However, in many cases, there’s a way you can apply the value of those unused tickets toward an Annual Pass renewal, if that’s in your future plans (which, imho, it absolutely should be)! It’s a bit of a hidden gem, often called “ticket bridging,” and while it’s not guaranteed in every situation, it’s worth asking about if you’re thinking ahead to your next renewal. Just keep in mind that it usually needs to be done in person or over the phone with a friendly Cast Member, who can provide you with the most up-to-date details on if this is possible and how to go about it.

So in short, yes, the offer is magical, but it’s all about seeing if it works best for your family’s plans and budget. I always say Disney planning is part logistics, part fairy dust!

I hope this info was helpul, Whitney! And if any other planning questions pop up like a surprise character sighting, you know where to find me. I’d love to help you add even more sparkle to your Walt Disney World Resort adventure!

    See ya real soon,
