Welcome back to planDisney, Joyce!
As a fellow
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, I like the way you think! Our Annual Passes enable us to maximize the magic of every visit to
Walt Disney World--especially through park hopping.
Because your ticket allows you to hop between parks, you will be able to purchase your
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for
Magic Kingdom Park when that window opens at 7:00 a.m., even if your plans begin at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Don't forget that, at this time, Annual Passholders need to make
Theme Park Reservations for the first park they'll be visiting unless the
Annual Passholder Admission Calendar shows that date to be a good-to-go day--no reservation needed. Not a good-to-go day? Make your reservation for Animal Kingdom, then hop over to Magic Kingdom as soon as you are ready.
The only complication I can see is if you plan to hop to Magic Kingdom on a popular day. While park hopping is a great perk, it is only possible if that second park has not reached capacity.
Just a few weeks ago, my husband and I booked a
Lightning Lane Single Pass for Avatar Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom, then hopped to a reservation for lunch at
EPCOT followed by our Multi Pass plans there for the rest of the day. It's the perfect way to enjoy some favorite rides, foods, sights, and photo ops throughout the four theme parks. I'm sure you'll love your park-hopping day, too!
As you plan your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Joyce, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
