Hiya, Jamye, from your fellow Walt Disney World Annual Passholder and friendly
planDisney panelist! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question. I'm delighted to see you here!
I'm very, very happy to report that Annual Passholders who make room-only reservations for any and all
Disney Resorts Collection hotels are eligible to add the
Disney Dining Plan or the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan to their magical vacations. However, you will not be able to do this by yourself. Instead, you'll have to speak with a friendly Cast Member over at the
Annual Passholders hotline so they can help you out.
Before deciding which plan you'd like to add, I suggest making a plan. If you're a Character or Signature Dining family like my husband and I, you will definitely benefit from the Disney Dining Plan. This plan includes one Table Service meal and one Quick-Service meal per night, per person, so it's ideal if you really want to spend some time eating and relaxing at your favorite restaurants. However, if you're more of a go-go-go family, the Quick-Service dining plan might be the best option for you. This plan includes two Quick-Service meals per night, per person, so it's designed for those Guests who prefer to spend most of their time exploring instead of eating.
Once you've decided which plan works best for you and your particular travel style, I also suggest making a list of all the restaurants you'd like to try. If you go for the Disney Dining Plan, keep in mind that your reservation window will open up exactly 60 days before your check-in date. This is extremely important if you want to secure your must-dos!
I hope this helps, Jamye. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us so we can assist you further. Have an absolutely magical week!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
