If you have an annual pass and want to go on a blacked out day, are we able to go?

Hi Mel! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

Congratulations on securing your year of more access to the magic, fantastic discounts, and fun perks. I've loved having my Magic Key over the last year, and I bet you will too! My family loves to dine in the parks, so we find great value in the dining discount. The merchandise discounts are pretty great too because there's always something we can't live without.

Each Magic Key has its benefits and terms, which are subject to change. One of the important details to be aware of are the blockout dates for your Magic Key. You can check the blockout calendar for your specific Magic Key. If a date is slashed through, you're not able to attend with your Magic Key on that day. You're free to purchase a standard admission ticket or one of the special ticket offers available that might apply to you for that day, but your Magic Key won't get you in.

My family is excited about the Kids' Special Ticket Offer, and Guests who live in an eligible ZIP Code and have a government-issued ID proving their residence can take advantage of the SoCal Special Ticket Offer on select days. Prices and terms for these magical offers are subject to change. These are some options that might be open to you even on dates when your Magic Key doesn't grant you entry. They offer great value to Guests!

As you're planning your visits during your year of magical access, follow the Disney Parks Blog. It's the official news source for the parks. They have the information you need about returning favorites and new exciting experiences. We're planning our next visit to coincide with the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. What will bring you to the parks next?

    Have a magical day!
