If I get an annual pass, can I make fast pass selections a month early to be used on the same day I activate it. Or does it have to be activated before I can make fast pass selections

Hi Matt, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.

I am so excited to hear that you are planning to join the Annual Passholder family! Any guest who has valid theme park admission linked to their My Disney Experience account can select FastPass+ experiences 30 days in advance. Annual Passholders can make up to 7 days of FastPass+ selections at a time. If you were staying at a select Disney Resort Hotel, you could make your selections 60 days in advance for the entire length of your trip up to 14 days.

Your annual pass is just like any other paid in advance admission ticket. It does not have to be active in order for you to make your selections. One thing to consider when making your future plans as an Annual Passholder is all of the benefits and discounts extended to you. In my opinion, if you take advantage of all the discounts offered for dining, merchandise, accommodations and the use of a Memory Maker for an entire magical 365 days, it is worth every penny. Some of your benefits require you to activate your annual pass before you can use them. But some may require you to provide proof of purchase, until activation. When you make your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort to activate your pass, you can visit any ticket booth at a Disney Theme Park or Disney Water Park and also receive your Annual Passholder ID card. If you have any more questions before your next visit, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
