My annual pass will expire in the middle of my Disney vacation. Is there any way to renew it prior to 60 days so that I will be able to book fastpasses for the whole trip 60 days prior to check- in? Pass expires Sept 26, and vacation is 9/24 to 10/2/19

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brenda!

I’m so excited to hear you’re planning an autumn visit to Walt Disney World Resort! I cannot get enough of the Mickey pumpkins and fall decorations at Magic Kingdom Park, and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is so frightfully fun! You’re getting close to your FastPass+ selection window, and that means the magic will be here soon.

I chatted with a Cast Member about this question, because it’s almost a Disney “chicken or egg” dilemma, isn’t it? It sounds like you’ll be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, which means that with a September 24 arrival date, your FastPass+ selection window opens on July 26. You’re also able to renew your Walt Disney World Annual Pass 60 days in advance of your anniversary date, which falls a few days after your arrival date. This likely means that, since you won’t have tickets linked past September 26, you’ll only be able to make FastPass+ selections for the dates on which your pass is active. Then, once you renew your pass, you’ll be able to select FastPass+ for the remainder of your vacation dates.

Brenda, I think you should call the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder support line at (407) 939-7277. They will be able to look at your expiration date, your resort reservation dates, and give you the best, most accurate advice for your planning needs. I’m sending you my pixie-dusted wishes that they’ve got a great, easy solution for you so you can get your plans made and focus on making magical memories.

One more tip: keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, as they’ve been making some awesome announcements lately about new experiences, tasty treats, and Annual Passholder extras. Don’t forget to check the Annual Passholder Special Offers web page regularly, as those offers do change seasonally.

I hope you have a spook-tacular time this fall, Brenda!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
