Hi Wendy!
I’m so happy to hear you're a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder and are ready to renew! Being a Passholder is like having a year-round ticket to the magic. With an
Annual Pass, you can visit the parks as often as you like, enjoying the amazing attractions, entertainment, and dining experiences whenever the mood strikes. Plus, you get exclusive perks like discounts on food, merchandise, and access to Passholder-exclusive merchandise and special events. Whether it's a spontaneous trip to catch the
Happily Ever After fireworks or a visit during the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, being a Passholder means the magic is always ready and waiting for you!
When you renew your pass, the expiration date remains the same regardless of when you renew. If your pass expires on September 22nd and you renew it within 30 days after that date, your new pass will still have a renewal date of September 22nd the following year. This means that even though you renewed a bit late, your new expiration date will be September 22nd of the next year, preserving your original anniversary date.
If you choose to renew your pass early (up to 60 days before it expires), your new pass will still be valid starting from September 22nd and will expire on September 22nd of the next year. Renewing early doesn’t change your expiration date - it simply ensures your renewal is processed well in advance.
Whether you renew early or within the 30-day grace period after your pass expires, the expiration date will always remain September 22nd, preserving your original anniversary date.
I hope this helps explain the process, and that you continue to enjoy being an Annual Passholder. See you in the parks!
