Hiya Christine - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks for swinging by with your question! As a perpetual
Annual Passholder (and former Florida Resident), I'm happy to help by answering your question.
Per the
Disney Annual Pass Terms & Conditions at Walt Disney World Resort, Annual Passes are non-transferable. Specifically, this refers to passes that have been used to enter a Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park and are thus linked to and activated for one specific Guest. So, if you purchase a
new Annual Pass, but do not activate or use it, you may reassign it to another eligible Guest (i.e., a new Annual Pass exclusively offered to Florida Residents can't be transferred to someone who is not a verified Florida Resident).
Renewals, however, are
not treated as a "new" Annual Pass, and thus are
not eligible to be transferred in any scenario. There are several reasons for this, including the fact that Guests who are renewing receive special pricing, and often have a wider variety of passes to choose from. If you have any additional questions or concerns about renewing or using your Annual Pass, please contact V.I.PASSHOLDER Support at 407-939-7277.
As a Florida Resident, did you know that there are other Special Offers that Mickey has saved just for you?
Be sure to check out all the options to add even more magic to your next visit!
