If I have annual pass and Disneyland no longer selling passes will I be able to buy a pass for my child who turns three?

Hi there, David! We are so happy you found your way to planDisney with your question. I can only imagine how many forever memories you have already made with your Mouseketeer at the Disneyland Resort. There is just something so special about seeing the wonder in their eyes as they take those first few steps down Main Street, U.S.A.!

When those little ones turn three, it always seems like a Disney rite of passage to purchase those first park tickets or annual passes. For us Disneylanders, it feels like handing over their official key to the kingdom! I know that we are all waiting to hear news about Magic Key renewals and when new keys will be available for purchase - I am in a very similar boat over here! Currently, you are not able to purchase a new key, but we are anticipating news very soon as the first set of keys will be up for renewal at the end of the summer. My best advice is to keep your ears peeled to the Disney Parks Blog and @DISNEYPARKS and @DISNEYLAND Instagram Accounts as that is where news has been breaking first lately!

We understand this might be putting a bit of a damper on the magic for some families, like yourselves. To fill this void with a little pixie dust, the Disneyland Resort is currently offering California Resident Tickets which are 3-day tickets valid until September 15, 2022. You can purchase a Monday-Thursday ticket or a Monday-Sunday ticket with or without the Park Hopper option. What I love about this option is that they function similar to a Magic Key in that you can use them on non-consecutive days, so you can actually enjoy the parks a few times throughout the next two months! With Halloween Time kicking off on September 2nd, you can take your little one to experience summer in the parks and then come back for all the fall festivities!

David, I hope this was helpful in your planning! You might also want to give the @DISNEYLANDMAGICKEY Instagram account a follow. This is actually where I find out the latest and greatest news on special key holder perks! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney
