    Can you use the annual pass dining discount in Disney Springs before you activate the pass at theme parks? If so, does it effect the expiration date of pass. If you up grade pass, do you lose the extra month?

    Hi, Jacalyn! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As a fellow Disney Annual Passholder, I love taking advantage of all the fun perks, especially the current offer for 20% off Disney merchandise to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort!  

    Disney Springs is a fantastic place to take advantage of the perks of being an Annual Passholder, with the current 20% off discount at D-Luxe burger and the food trucks plus 10% off at many other restaurants, you can really have some fun shopping and dining right now at Disney Springs! In order to receive your Annual Passholder discount, you just have to show your Annual Passholder Card at checkout and the form of payment must match the name on the card. With those two items ready to go, you will have no problems getting your discount applied. 

    I recently upgraded my annual pass so I could take advantage of Memory Maker for my Disney PhotoPass photos. Like you, I was able to purchase my AP during the offer of 13 months for the price of 12, and when I upgraded, that extra month was still there. So, upgrade away and don’t worry, that extra month of fun will still be all yours to enjoy!
