Disney Genie+ Service is a great way to make sure that you can enjoy as much as possible during your visit to the theme parks. I was actually able to head to
Magic Kingdom today with my family to enjoy a final few hours of magic before heading home from an amazing trip and Genie+ allowed us to enjoy a few of our "must-do" attractions using their
Lightning Lanes that we wouldn't have had time for if we were using their Standby queues!
As an
Annual Passholder, you will purchase the Disney Genie+ Service one day at a time. Annual Passholders don't currently have the ability to purchase the Disney Genie+ Service in advance, so you will simply purchase Genie+ on the day of your visit for any day you choose to use it. I think this works out well because you aren't required to purchase the upgrade for your entire Annual Pass, but just the days you want it! In my opinion, the easiest way to purchase Genie+ is from the
My Disney Experience mobile app and you can purchase it as early as midnight on the day you would like to use it. Simply head to the Tip Board or My Genie Day portion for the app on the day of your visit for the option to purchase Genie+!
Jean, since Lightning Lane availability is limited, I recommend that you make your first Lightning Lane selection at 7:00 a.m. to ensure you get your "must-do" attractions in your itinerary. Also, don't forget that you can make your next Lightning Lane reservation two hours after your make your last reservation. So even if your first reservation is for later in the day, you can still make your second reservation at 9:00 a.m.!
