Hiya, Karina, and welcome to
planDisney!
It sounds like you have the same
Magic Key as me, the Imagine Key, which allows us to hold up to two theme park reservations at a time. I completely understand the issue you’re having, because I’ve gone through this, too! Once you have your two theme park reservations booked, the system won’t allow you to see the booking calendar until you cancel one of your previous reservations. So, when this happens, you can view the
Magic Key Access Calendar instead! Just filter it by selecting the Imagine Key, and you’ll be able to see the availability for your Key below that. Once you see that a reservation for an earlier date is open, I recommend canceling one of your reservations right away so you can grab it before it’s gone! The availability calendar changes quickly, so it’s best to move fast! If you happen to miss it, just keep refreshing and checking the availability calendar until you see an open reservation again.
I know it can be hard to wait until the last-minute, but I’ve had a lot of luck finding reservations the night before my visit, around 9:00 or 10:00 PM Pacific, since Magic Key holders need to cancel by 11:59 PM the day before their visit in order to avoid a no-show. Keep in mind that after receiving a no-show for three reservations in a 90-day window, you won’t be able to make any new park reservations for 30 days.
If you’re not already, I highly recommend following
@disneylandmagickey on Instagram for all the latest information, tips, and exclusive park giveaways. Also, don't forget to take advantage of your
Magic Key holder discounts in the theme parks and at select locations in Downtown Disney District, too!
I hope you’re able to get the day you’re waiting for, Karina! Sending pixie dust your way that it works out!
Wishing you magic,
Kristin
