If your annual pass is blocked out on a certain day, can you pay to enter for the day? If so, what is the price?

Greetings, Alanna, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We’re so glad you’re hEAR!

First off, it sounds like you’re a member of the Disneyland Resort Annual Passholder family – congratulations! This is such an exciting time to be a Passholder, with the recent opening of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and the upcoming debut of the “Magic Happens” Parade, and the 2020 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

Though the Disneyland Resort used to offer a Blockout Day ticket for Annual Passholders when their current Passports were blocked out, unfortunately, this is no longer an option. Instead, you can choose to purchase a one- or multi-day park admission ticket, or upgrade your Passport at any Main Entrance Ticket Booth to a Passport that isn’t blocked that day. Since you live in California, another option to consider is the 3-Day SoCal Resident Ticket Offer! This Offer is currently available to Southern California Residents living within ZIP codes 90000-93599, or for Northern Baja California residents, between ZIP codes 21000-22999. All adults using this Ticket Offer will be required to show valid government-issued ID with an eligible ZIP code at the Main Entrance upon entering. Here’s a link to the Offers & Discounts page in case any of these additional offers may apply to you, too.

Wishing you a year filled with magical adventures! Please stop by with any additional questions, Alanna… I’m all EARs!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 8, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
