If I have an annual pass, and there are blackout dates, am I able to pay a lower rate for a blackout date or would I have to pay for a regular priced ticket?

Welcome to planDisney Alexandra! We are so glad you stopped by with your question. Annual pass holders are the lifeblood of Disney. I can help guide you to your best option.

Being an Annual Passholder means you get to ensure the magic continues with visits to the Walt Disney World Resort Most of the visits to the parks will be wonderful to visit during dates you have available through your pass. But on some dates, annual passes do have blacked out where your pass will not be available for use. Discounts are not available for pass holders on the blackout-specific dates. There are discounts available depending on the dates you will be visiting and you also must be a resident to take advantage of the Florida Resident Weekday Magic Ticket.

The dates for the current Florida resident discount are limited and ending shortly. You can purchase 2,3, or 4-day tickets. You can visit the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival during this event which started March 1st and runs through July 5th. Unless your visit is within the next two weeks the Magic Kingdom Park will be welcoming back a fan favorite Happily Ever After. This fireworks extravaganza is set to make its return starting April 3, 2023!

I hope this information is helpful in finding the best budget option for your next park visit. If you have any other questions or need any planning tips or advice, please stop by again and we will be happy to help.

    Have a magical day!
