    Morgan from CA Asked

To get an annual Disneyland pass do you need a California ID? My boyfriend moved here from New York but hasn’t gotten an ID yet but we’d like to get annual passes still. Can we show a bill or registration to prove he lives here for does that not matter?

Hey Morgan! Thanks for stopping by planDisney to ask your question.

How exciting that your boyfriend is planning on purchasing a Magic Key to join you in visiting The Happiest Place on Earth! I’m sure you both can’t wait to “unlock the magic” all yEAR along with your passes, so let’s talk about the proof of California residency requirements. A valid state-issued ID would be best; however, an official document like a bank statement, pay stub, utility bill, mortgage statement, or residential lease, with his full name and California address, will also work.

You will both be Soarin’ Around the World, visiting my favorite hatbox ghost, and eating churros and beignets together in no time!

    Happy Visiting,
    Tracy

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
