We are annual Disney World family visitors, however, we will be visiting Orlando during the Christmas break this year instead of our usual February visit. We are in area Dec 28 - Jan 5th. How much busier?

    Hi Tina,

How wonderful that you will be able to visit Walt Disney World Resort this time around at one of the most magical times of the year. Seeing the parks all decked out in their holiday best will add more pixie dust to your memories.

While the week you plan to visit will be one of the busiest of the year, you seem to be seasoned Disney travelers and this could benefit you in the end as you navigate throughout the parks. The crowds will be higher than you are used to as many visitors are also there on breaks from school and spending the holidays away from home. You might also see the crowds begin to thin out a bit after the first few days of January, although I can't guarantee it. So, with careful planning in regards to choosing your FastPass+ selections ahead of time and booking your dining in advance, this trip can still be just as fun as you are used to with the added sprinkling of holiday spirit!

    Have a jolly holiday!
