    Have they announced Star Wars Weekends?

    I feel the force is strong with you Lisa!

    You must have felt an exciting disturbance in the universe because the Disney Parks Blog just announced the 2012 Star Wars Weekends. I see that you're from Georgia so you don't live in a galaxy far, far away. That will make it easier for you to plan to attend during one of these weekends:

    May 18th - 20th
    May 25th - 27th
    June 1st - 3rd
    June 8th - 10th

    Disney hasn't announced the line-up of celebrity appearances or events for the 2012 Star Wars Weekends yet. For updates on this out of this world event, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Disney World Official Facebook Page. If you're on twitter, follow @DisneyParks and @WaltDisneyWorld.

    I hope that you'll be able to attend. I was there one year with one of my friends and as we were leaving the park, we heard the familiar "voice" of R2-D2 behind us as he was heading out for a break. You just never know what you'll encounter and that makes it even more exciting.
