Anniversary, staying in Animal Kingdom, just the two of us, no kids, arriving Jan. 18 for 3 days. Want to go to Animal Kingdom 2 days and Epcot one. what do you suggest.

    Hi Catherine!

Congratulations on choosing the most magical place to celebrate your anniversary in January. Walt Disney World is certainly where adults can have fun as well as children and we find it is just as much a destination for the older generation as it is for the young ones.

There are many romantic things to enjoy during a Disney stay. I am sure you are will enjoy the new Pandora area of the Animal Kingdom Park. Flights of Passage is amazing and truly one of Disney’s best five rides in the world. Consider booking a  Rivers of Light Dining Package at Tiffins for one of the nights. Tiffins is a great place for a quiet meal followed by the beautiful show over the waters in front of Everest.

When considering a day in Epcot one of the best romantic spots to dine is Monsieur Paul which is upstairs in the France Pavilion. It is quiet and elegant and a great place to slow down and enjoy the evening without the crowds of the park. Don’t forget to check out the Festival of the Arts taking place beginning January 12 this year. It is sure to be another successful event held at Epcot.

My best advice is to not plan too much but instead go with the flow and relax and just enjoy your time together. Happy Anniversary!
